Akihiro Nishino's Tick Tock Book

These are some background and Cover illustrations I created together with Mugenup for Akihiro Nishino's story book "Tick Tock"
The task was to make these elabourate backgrounds which would then be populated by characters drawn by a seperate artist, much like in cel frame animation. I worked collaboratively to create the entire book and it was a fantastic experience to see it published in Japan!
